Kingsdale, Kitchener
Post-war streets near an ION station and parks.
What it's like
On a July afternoon in Kingsdale, the outdoor pool and splash pad at Wilson Park are full of swimmers, and the sound of their laughter carries across the 17-hectare park. Under the trees, there is room for a picnic or a game of catch, and the Kingsdale Community Centre stays busy year-round. Kingsdale Park on Cedarwoods Crescent and Traynor Park add green space between the streets. Fairview Park Mall and the Fairway ION station are each less than a kilometre away.
