What it's like
Along Brant Avenue, post-war homes sit on friendly lots, with Dakota Park and the playground on Waverley Drive both an easy walk, in a neighbourhood that still believes in front porches and street hockey. Victoria North sits up above Woodlawn where the city is still stretching: Ferndale Park two blocks in, the Speed River Trail nearby, and open country beginning just past the last new street.
