The Friendly City, on the Thames
Woodstock pairs a grand Victorian downtown with everything close at hand: theatres and museums, river parkland and trails, busy arenas and rec centres, and neighbourhoods from stately century streets to brand-new subdivisions. Woodstock was first settled in 1800, became a town in 1851 and a city in 1901, and its Old Town Hall, built in 1853, is now the Woodstock Museum, a National Historic Site. Housing runs from homes built before 1961 in Downtown Woodstock, Old North and Southside, through 1960s and 1970s streets in North Woodstock, Dundas Street East and Oxford Place, and streets from the 1980s onward in Springbank and Devonshire, to the newest homes in Sumac Ridge, Sally Creek and Havelock Corners.

The Catholic board runs St. Michael's, St. Patrick's and Holy Family French Immersion Catholic School for the elementary grades, and St. Mary's Catholic High School, which offers Extended French. Fanshawe College has a Woodstock campus on Finkle Street.
“If we could give 6 stars we would. We got put in touch with Dave by a friend and never once did we regret or question our decision with our new realtor. We just had a new born and with our landlord jacking our rent up by 15% we knew it was time to get out the rent game and start looking to purchase our own home. It was winter so the market was slow but Dave took our parameters in our search and got to work showing us all the homes within our budget and our wishes. We were requesting showings to several houses at short notice as the houses were not staying on the market for very long and Dave was very accommodating and even came out to places like Paris at the drop of a hat. Within a week we had found a place we liked within our budget and with Dave's guidance and expert knowledge in the field we secured our new home! We had a long closing date which was stressful and Dave always kept us at ease if we had any worries or questions. Long story short, if your looking for a new home. Dave is the man to find you one!”
A calm hand in a big decision.
