Newer crescents in the city's northeast where the basketball nets and first gardens are already out, with Pittock's conservation lands close enough that the after-dinner bike ride ends at the water.

The 2021 census counts about 600 homes in Devonshire. About seven in ten are single detached houses, and about one in six are row houses. About one in five were built between 1991 and 2000, about a quarter between 2001 and 2015, and about a quarter between 2016 and 2021.

Woodstock Transit's 1 Northeast route runs along Devonshire Avenue and Cardinal Drive, and the 3 North Central along Lansdowne Avenue. The transit terminal downtown is about 3 km away. Lansdowne Avenue, Devonshire Avenue, Cardinal Drive and Nellis Street are the main streets.

Les Cook Park is the neighbourhood park, and Cowan Fields, on Devonshire Avenue East, is about 0.6 km away. Pittock Conservation Area is about 3 km away.
