Springbank, Woodstock

The corridor that carries the city's northeast, homes and handy shops along Springbank Avenue.

The 2021 census counts about 2,900 homes in Springbank. Almost six in ten are single detached houses, about one in five are apartments in buildings of five or more storeys, and about one in eight are row houses. About one in five were built between 1981 and 1990, a quarter between 1991 and 2000, and just under half between 2001 and 2021.

Woodstock Transit's 1 Northeast route runs along Springbank Avenue North, Finch Avenue and Cardinal Drive, and the 3 North Central along Lansdowne Avenue and Mohawk Street. The transit terminal downtown is about 3 km away. Springbank Avenue North, Lansdowne Avenue, Devonshire Avenue, Cardinal Drive and Oxford Road 4 are the main streets.

Pittock Conservation Area, on the reservoir, and Roth Park, on the Thames, are at Springbank's western edge, with trails along the water. Donald A. Thompson Park, William Dutton Park and Trevor Slater Park are the neighbourhood parks.

• Northdale Public School — JK to Grade 8. The public school for Rivercrest Drive, by the reservoir, on Victoria Street North.
• Huron Park Secondary School — Grades 9 to 12. The public secondary school for most of Springbank, on Cromwell Street.
• Woodstock Collegiate Institute — Grades 9 to 12. The public secondary school for Rivercrest Drive, on Riddell Street, with French immersion.
• Roch Carrier French Immersion Public School — Grades 1 to 8 in French immersion. The public French immersion school for these streets, on Sloane Street.
• St. Michael's Catholic School — JK to Grade 8. A Catholic elementary school for these streets, on Devonshire Avenue.
• St. Patrick's Catholic School — JK to Grade 8. A Catholic elementary school for these streets too, on Parkinson Road.
• Holy Family French Immersion Catholic School — SK to Grade 8 in French immersion. The Catholic French immersion school, on Oxford Street.
• St. Mary's Catholic High School — Grades 9 to 12. The Catholic secondary school, on Juliana Drive, with Extended French.
