Oxford Place, Woodstock

Set in the south end of the city, from Dufferin Street down to Frizelle Drive and Juliana Drive, Oxford Place offers easy living within a short walk of Southside Park and Fanshawe's Woodstock campus. It's a practical, friendly corner of the city that keeps everyday life simple.

The 2021 census counts about 960 homes in Oxford Place. About two in three are single detached houses, about one in seven are semi-detached, and about one in ten are apartments in buildings under five storeys. About three in ten were built in 1960 or earlier, and about six in ten between 1961 and 1980.

Woodstock Transit's 5 Southeast route runs along Norwich Avenue, the 6 Southwest along Alice Street and Sunset Boulevard, and the 2 Dundas East along Springbank Avenue South and Parkinson Road. The transit terminal downtown is about 1.9 km away. Norwich Avenue, Dufferin Street, Alice Street, Parkinson Road, Juliana Drive and Springbank Avenue South are the main streets.

Eastdale Park and Homer Brown Park on Alice Street, Fletcher Park on Norwich Avenue, Sudsworth Park on Springbank Avenue South and McWhinnie Park on Juliana Drive are the neighbourhood parks. Eastdale Public School is on Aileen Drive and Woodstock Christian School is on Juliana Drive. The Brick Pond Wetlands are just to the east, Cottle Park and Fanshawe College's Woodstock campus are about 1.3 km away in Cedar Creek, and Southside Park about 1.5 km.

• St. Patrick's Catholic School — JK to Grade 8. The Catholic elementary school for Oxford Place, on Parkinson Road.
• Holy Family French Immersion Catholic School — SK to Grade 8 in French immersion. The Catholic French immersion school, on Oxford Street.
• St. Mary's Catholic High School — Grades 9 to 12. The Catholic secondary school, on Juliana Drive, with Extended French.
• Woodstock Collegiate Institute — Grades 9 to 12. The public secondary school on Riddell Street, and Woodstock's public French immersion secondary school.
